You went to a theater with a friend and he/she had an accident. An employee helped you. Write a letter to the manager to
– thank the employee
– explain about the accident
– suggest what they could have done to prevent it.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to thank one of your employees, Albert, who helped me and my friend last week when we came to see a show in your theatre.
Last week, my friend Suzi and I came to your theatre to see the drama show ‘Love Triangle’. Unfortunately, Suzi tripped as we were going up the stairs. Actually, one step of the stairs is chipped from the edge because of which my friend tripped. He had an ankle sprain and was in great pain. Albert was on duty there. He managed a pain killer for Suzi and also changed our seat to the front row where Suzi could keep his foot raised. Had it not been for Albert, we would not have been able to see the show.
I would suggest you to get the step of the stair repaired as soon as possible so that any more accidents can be prevented. This should have been done earlier but perhaps you were not aware of it.
