You bought a football match ticket. However, you are unable to go. So you want to offer the ticket to your friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
– explain the football tournament
– why you are unable to go
– how can your friend get the ticket

Dear John,
I hope you are pink in your health. I am writing this letter to explain to you about the forthcoming football league which is being held yearly in our hometown. In this ,tournament several teams around the country will be taking participating. As you know that football is my favourite sport since childhood hence, I have booked a ticket for the Sunday match which will be played between Delhi and Punjab.
I would like to tell you that due to an urgent official trip to attend a meeting related to my new project, I ought to go abroad because, this project was my dream project for a long time therefore, I do not want to leave this opportunity. Due to this , the reason I am not able to use this ticket.
I have booked the ticket online and I have the soft copy of that in my email-id thus, please share your updated email address with me so that I can send it to you. I will happy if you take advantage of this ticket by watching the match live from the stadium.
