SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear sir/madam,

I am writing this letter to seek your permission for my child for three days’ leave. It is essential for him to attend the retirement party of his grandfather that is going to be organised in Banglore.

We have been living in an extended family and celebrating every occasion with great pomp and show. Since Sheldon Jackson currently studying in 6th Alpha has been promoted to the next class, we were unable to visit Banglore. Now on this auspicious day of his grandfather’s ,retirement he is willing to throw a party. I want my full family to attend this event and Sheldon is an apple of his grandfather’s eye, so it’s my cordial request to let him attend this function.

Moreover, I will take complete responsibility for my child’s lessons. I already told one of his friends to send classwork done during regular school hours. Being fully conscious of his second-term exams, I am requesting you grant him leave for a week. I will access the school portal edusprint education to even cover up his homework.
