You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
– advise them of your situation
– explain how this is affecting you
– request a new card
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in request of a new student identification card. Unfortunately, it had been missing last Tuesday, hence, it will be very helpful if you can arrange with a new one.
To begi with, I had it inside my bag while I was going cricket practices the other day, however, when I returned, my bag was open and I did not find my card inside. Nevertheless, I along with my friends tried all possible ways to find it yet failed in all. Moreover, I am not able to enter the library without it, and warned by the administration that I will not be allowed to sit for the forthcoming mid-term exams, without the card.
Therefore, kindly take this as a request to issue me a brand new student card. Meanwhile, going forward, I will handle the new card with care and make sure the same will not repeat.
