You recently travelled on the local bus service in your town. You think the driver drove badly and was rude to the passengers. Write a letter to the manager of the local bus service. In your letter

– introduce yourself and say when the incident happened

– describe what you saw and heard

– say what you would like the bus company to do about it

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you about one of your driver’s bad driving skills and his rude behaviour towards the passengers. My name is Liz Jones, and the incident happened when I boarded the bus number 23D from Central Park Bus Station for James Circle on 23 Feb around 9:30 am in the morning.

Letme explain the situation in more details. As i boarded the bus and took my seat, and driver started driving down the 31 High Street, when suddenly he took a sharp turn and overtook a car passing by in another lane. This was a dangerous manueur, not only for the driver of the car but also to us- passengers of the bus, as might have overturned to one side. When we confornted the driver to drive responsible he rudeily repiled to my fellow passengers.

Could you please look into the matter and punish the driver for his irresponsible behaviour on road as well as with the passenger. One of the fellow travellers happened to take his Employment ID, its AB3321
