Your company sent you to complete a course in another country. You have lost the certificate received at the end of the course. Write a letter to the principal of the college where you took the course.
In your letter, you should tell:
– how you lost the certificate
– why you need it now
– what you want the principal to do.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Principal,
I am an overseas student who recently completed a diploma in “Machine Learning” from your college. Unfortunately, I lost the final certificate, and I would like to request a duplicate copy of the same.
After my course, while I was travelling to my home country in the transit airport my baggage was lost, and my course completion record was in the same bag. Attached is an email reference from airlines regarding the same.
My employer has spent a significant amount on my training and travel. This certification is mandatory for my clients to provide critical projects to my employer. And also, my promotion is on hold as I could not submit my course completion transcripts.
I would like to request you arrange a duplicate copy and courier it to my registered home address.
