You are interested in an activity or hobby that one of your friends already has.
Write a letter to this friend asking for information about it. In your letter,

Dear Paula,
Hope you are doing great. You’d be glad to know that I’ve lately taken a keen interest in music, and in particular, in playing the guitar. I am practising music in our college and planning to buy a guitar soon. As you are a promising musician and a great guitarist, I wish to get some information and tips from you.
Could you please advise me on buying a suitable guitar for me? This would be my first guitar, and I’ll primarily use it to learn to play this musical instrument. This doesn’t have to be by a famous manufacturer or with any special features. As there are so many types available in the market, I am a little overwhelmed and confused. I’m not looking for an expensive guitar now, and I hope you will suggest something that would suit my budget and requirements.
I’d also like some guidance and tips from you, and perhaps, I can come and visit you sometimes next June. Would you recommend any book or online resources for me? Your advice would be valuable to me. Thank you, in advance.
