You have seen an advertisement from a couple, who live in Australia, for someone to teach their two children your language for a year. Write a letter to the couple.
In your letter
– explain why you think you would be suitable for the job
– say what else you could do for the family
– give reasons for wanting the job
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing with regard to an advertisement in a newspaper that you are looking for a teacher who can teach Azerbaijani to your children. I would like to apply for this job.
First, I would like to inform you that I have relevant experience in this profession. I have worked a private language course as a teacher for 7 years. I have improved my mother tongue proficiency during this period. That is why I know my profession inside out therefore In my opinion I am the right person for this position
Besides this, I know computer programmes very well. I possess a few certificates in the field of computer science. Additionally, I have a bachelor’s degree in this occupation. If you want I can educate your offspring.
Nowadays, I intend to move to Australia. This is why I have gotten an IELTS certificate in order to obtain a visa. I think that if you accept my application this will facilitate my migration process.
