You stayed at a hotel last week. After you got home, you realized that you had left your watch behind. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter

– explain what happened to your watch

– Describe your watch

– Ask the manager to help you find it.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear sir,

I am writing to inform you about my wristwatch that I left in your hotel last week. I discovered it was not on my wrist by the time I got home. I will like you to help me search for it.

I must have left the wristwatch on the dressing table in the hotel room I lodged. I think I forgot to put it on while I was checking out of the hotel room.

It is a golden one, it is a Gucci brand with a blue face and it has a very slim hand.

Please, I would like you to conduct a search and see If you could find it. You may also need to ask your staff If they saw it around. If found, kindly contact me on my phone number 08062253567 or through my electronic mail address bose@yahoo.com .
