You are living in a hostel, recently, you have noticed that few boys entered your room and tried to do something wrong in the room. Write a letter of complaint to the accommodation officer.
Mention in your letter;
– Inform when and what happened
– Tell about the damage done
– What should the officer do?
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
My name is AVC. I live in room number 205 on the second floor at Block-C in the hostel. I am writing this letter to inform you about the incident which took place two days before.
On 24th July, I left my room for the college and locked it properly before leaving. When I returned back I was shocked to see my room. The door was broke open and someone had tried to enter it without permission. All my things were lying here and there. Moreover, were lying on the floor. It seems whoever has entered the room was trying to find some valuables.
However, even my digital camera was lying there and I have noticed that it was damaged. I doubt that act was done by some mischievous boys who are already troubling other students also in the campus. Hence, I would bring to your attention that those boys should b e punished so that they should avoid doing such troubles in future.
Meanwhile, I request you to get my wardrobe repaired and kindly compensate me for the damage done to my digital camera.
