You are interested in learning French. There is an advertisement in a newspaper regarding admission to a Diploma course.

Write a letter to get information about it.

With reference to your newspaper dated 10th March, 20…, regarding the teaching of foreign languages at your Institute. I am really interested in learning French language. Kindly let me know detailed information regarding this.

Is this course through regular class room coaching or it is through correspondence? What is the duration of the Diploma in French language? What is the fee-structure? Is the fee to be deposited in one instalment or it can be divided into two or more instalments? I prefer class-room teaching. Secondly, I belong to a city that is about 60 kilometres away from your Institute. What about boarding and lodging? Can there be any facility of living as a Paying Guest? Would you please tell me the living expenses as well?

I shall be really obliged if you supply me the required information and the starting date of the Diploma Course in French at the given address.
