You want to join a local club, but you have some questions about membership.

Write a letter to the club secretary. In your letter:

– Introduce yourself and your interest in the club

– Inquire about the club’s upcoming events or requirements

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is JK SH, and I recently moved to the area. I came across your club while walking through the neighbourhood, and I’m quite interested in becoming a member. I’ve always enjoyed participating in community activities and am keen to meet new people and contribute wherever I can.

I would appreciate it if you could provide some information about the membership process. Are there any specific forms to fill out or fees to be paid? Also, do you require any references or documents as part of the application?

Additionally, I’d like to know about any upcoming events or activities that the club is organising. It would be helpful to understand the club’s regular schedule and whether new members are expected to attend any introductory sessions or meetings.
