Your parents will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next month. You are planning a big celebration, but you are not sure how to make the occasion really memorable. Write to a friend, who is a professional event planner. In your letter:

-explain why the occasion is special

-ask for his/her assistance

-set up a time to meet at your friend’s convenience to discuss your plans

Dear Sarah,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to ask for your help in planning a very special event — my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary next month. It’s a huge milestone for them, and I really want to make the celebration unforgettable. They’ve been through so much together, and this occasion deserves something truly meaningful.

Since you’re an experienced event planner, I’d love your advice on how to organize everything — from the theme and decorations to food and entertainment. I’m thinking of inviting close family and friends, but I want your expert touch to make the evening elegant and personal.

Could we meet sometime this week or early next week to discuss the details? Please let me know what time suits you best. I’ll be happy to adjust my schedule.
