You are visiting a town where you once worked. Write a friend you worked with there. Include the following in your letter:

-Tell your friend about life now.

-Give him/her details of your visit.

-Arrange how you can meet.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Rohan,

I hope you’re doing well! It’s been quite a while since we last met at the office in Jaipur. Life has been busy but good — I’ve recently started a new job in Mumbai, and it’s keeping me on my toes. I still miss our coffee breaks and the fun times we had during projects.

I’m writing to tell you that I’ll be visiting Jaipur next week for a short business trip. I’ll be there from Monday to Thursday and will have my evenings free. It would be wonderful to catch up after such a long time.

How about meeting on Tuesday evening at our favourite café near the old office? Let me know if that works for you, or suggest another place if you prefer. I’m really looking forward to seeing you and reminiscing about our old days.
