You recently noticed a local restaurant that was offering a part time job. Write a letter to the restaurant’s manager. In your letter,

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the part-time position recently advertised at your restaurant. I am very interested in joining your team as I have always enjoyed working in a customer-oriented environment.

I have six months of experience working as a waitress in a local café, where I developed strong communication and teamwork skills. My duties included taking orders, serving food, and ensuring customer satisfaction, which helped me learn how to work efficiently during busy hours.

I am currently a college student, so I am available to work on weekdays after 4 p.m. and full-time on weekends. I would be happy to adjust my schedule slightly if needed.
