You are planning a surprise birthday party for a friend. Write a letter to another mutual friend.
In your letter:
– Explain your plan for the party
– Ask for help with preparations
– Suggest a date and place for the celebration

Dear [Friend’s Name],
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to tell you about a surprise birthday party I’m planning for [Birthday Friend’s Name], and I’d love your help to make it special.
The idea is to have a small get-together with close friends to celebrate [his/her] birthday without [him/her] knowing in advance. I thought it would be great to organize some decorations, order a cake, and prepare some snacks and drinks. Also, I want to arrange some fun games to keep everyone entertained.
I was hoping you could help me with the preparations — maybe you could assist with decorating the venue or coordinating the food and drinks? Your creative ideas and energy would be a great addition to the team.
As for the date, I was thinking of holding the party on Saturday, 18th August, in the evening around 7 pm. The best place for the celebration would be at my house, as it’s spacious and private enough to keep the surprise.
