Write a letter to the airport manager about a flight that you missed for your business trip because of a problem that occured at the airport. Explain

-what was the problem.

-What happened as a result of the missed flight

-What would you like him or her to do about it.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter regarding a missed flight due to the trouble that occurred at the airport.

I was traveling from Toronto to Vancouver yesterday for my business meeting. It was an indispensable meeting for the new launches of my company. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach there because my flight was cancelled. There was an announcement at the terminal regarding a terror attack which was the reason for the cancellation of all flights.

Owing to this, I suffered to an enormous loss for my company as foreign clients rejected the project. Although I got frustrated and irritated, the circumstances were not under control. Moreover, I will try my best to convince my clients for another meeting.

However, it was not my fault so I want the full compensation for the air tickets. It would be great if you would offer me a refund or a voucher.
