You recently bought a gift item online for a friend’s birthday, but it arrived damaged.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter:

– Explain the situation and describe the item

– Say what went wrong

– Ask for a replacement or refund

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent purchase I made from your website. I ordered a ceramic photo frame (Order #GH456789) as a birthday gift for a friend. The item arrived yesterday, but unfortunately, it was broken upon arrival.

The photo frame, which was advertised as a handcrafted, floral-patterned frame, had a large crack running across the glass and a chipped corner. It appears the packaging was insufficient to protect such a delicate item during transit.

As this was meant to be a special gift, I am quite disappointed with the condition in which it arrived. I would appreciate it if you could either send me a replacement as soon as possible or issue a full refund.

I have attached photographs of the damaged product for your reference. I look forward to your prompt response.
