You live in an apartment building and have noticed that a neighbor leaves garbage bags in the hallway, causing an unpleasant smell and attracting insects.

Write a letter to the building manager. In your letter:

– Describe the problem and how it affects you

Dear Building Manager,

I am writing to bring to your attention a hygiene issue in our apartment building. One of the residents on my floor regularly leaves garbage bags in the hallway outside their door. This has created a strong, unpleasant smell and is beginning to attract insects, which is both unsightly and a potential health hazard.

I have tried to handle the matter politely by speaking to the neighbor and requesting that they dispose of their waste properly. Unfortunately, the problem persists despite my efforts, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to tolerate, especially during the warmer days.

I kindly ask that you take appropriate action to resolve this issue. Perhaps a reminder notice to all residents or a warning to the specific individual would be effective. Maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces is essential for everyone’s comfort and well-being.
