You are planning to move to a new city for work and want to transfer your current mobile phone number to a new service provider.

Write a letter to the customer service department. In your letter:

Dear Customer Service Team,

I am writing to request the transfer of my current mobile number, 9876543210, to a new service provider, as I will be relocating to Mumbai next month for a new job opportunity.

Since I have been using this number for several years, I would like to retain it after moving. The area I’m relocating to is not well-covered by your network, and for better connectivity, I will be switching to a provider with stronger coverage in that region.

Please let me know the procedure for transferring my number. Specifically, I would appreciate details about any charges involved and whether I need to provide any documents to complete the process.
