You recently attended a community event that was very poorly organized.

Write a letter to the local council. In your letter:

– Explain what the event was and what went wrong

– Describe how you felt about the situation

– Offer suggestions to improve future events

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent community cultural fair held at Greenfield Park on 2nd June, which was, unfortunately, poorly organized.

The event was intended to celebrate local art and food, but several issues spoiled the experience. There were insufficient food stalls for the large crowd, leading to long queues. Additionally, the stage events were delayed due to technical problems with the sound system, and there were no clear schedules or announcements, leaving attendees confused.

I was particularly disappointed as I had brought guests from out of town, hoping to showcase our vibrant community. Instead, the lack of coordination made it feel chaotic and unprofessional.

For future events, I suggest having more vendors, a dedicated organizing team, and better communication with visitors. Displaying a clear event schedule and arranging for backup technical support would also be beneficial.
