You received a letter from a retired couple you know, informing you about their intention to visit your city. Write a letter to them. In your letter
– Suggest what they can do in your city
– Recommend a place where they could stay
– Advise them on what to pack for their trip to your city.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Thompson,
It was such a pleasant surprise to receive your letter, and I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning a trip to my city!
There’s so much for you to see and do here. I’d recommend starting with a stroll through the historic Old Town, which is full of charming cafés, local art galleries, and antique shops. A boat cruise on the river is also a must—especially in the evening when the city lights create a magical atmosphere. If you’re interested in nature, the Botanical Gardens are a peaceful place to relax and enjoy a variety of plant species.
For accommodation, I suggest staying at the Rosewood Hotel. It’s centrally located, offers senior discounts, and has an excellent reputation for comfort and service.
As for packing, the weather here in spring is quite mild, so light layers, a waterproof jacket, and comfortable walking shoes should suffice. Don’t forget your camera—you’ll want to capture every moment!
