You are planning a business to another city. You will have some free time to do some sightseeing while you are there.
– Write a letter to a friend who lives in the city you will visit. In your letter
– Explain the purpose of the trip
– Ask about thing to do and see in the city
– Invite your friend to do something with you during your visit
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear [Friend’s Name],
I hope you’re doing well! I’m writing to let you know that I’ll be visiting [City Name] next month for a business trip. I have some meetings scheduled, but luckily, I’ll also have some free time to explore the city.
Since you know the city well, I’d love some recommendations on things to do and places to see. Are there any must-visit landmarks, great restaurants, or hidden gems I shouldn’t miss? I’d especially love to check out any cultural or historical sites if you have suggestions.
Also, it would be fantastic to catch up while I’m there! Maybe we could grab dinner at your favorite restaurant or visit a local attraction together. Let me know what works for you—I’d love to see you after so long!
