A business partner and his team have recently visited your organization, and one of the team members left a coat behind. Write a letter to your business partner.
In your letter
– Say what you liked about their visit
– Explain why you think the coat belongs to one of their team members
– Tell them how you plan to return it.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear [Business Partner’s Name],
I hope this letter finds you well. It was a pleasure hosting you and your team at our organization. We truly enjoyed the insightful discussions and collaborative spirit throughout your visit. Your team’s expertise and enthusiasm were inspiring, and we appreciate the valuable ideas shared during our meetings.
After your departure, we found a coat in the conference room. Given its location and the timing, we believe it may belong to one of your team members. The coat is [describe the coat briefly, e.g., “a black wool coat”], and we would be happy to return it.
To ensure its safe return, we can send it via courier to your office address. Alternatively, if someone from your team is visiting us soon, we can hand it over in person. Please let us know your preferred option.
