IELTS GENERAL TRAINING TASK 1

You share your room with another student in the college hostel. You find it very difficult to study there because he or She always has parties and friends visiting. write a letter to the hostel warden complaining about your displeasure with the roommate.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Mr.Smith,

I am writing this letter to complain about my roommate I am Alex I live in room number 456 I am extremely annoyed by the behavior of my roommate which does not allow me to focus on my studies.

She is a student and a teacher and she is in her first year in college, I am a senior and I am studying marketing. She always listens to loud music and movies at night moreover, she invites her friends to our room they make a noise and interrupt me with questions in this situation I am not able to concentrate on my studies. I requested her many times to be more polite and not bring your friends to our room she ignored my request and she increased her noise more than before I am very disappointed with her carelessness.

I would like to request you to come up with a solution immediately as I am in my final year in college I am working on increasing my score I am losing my study skills due to her inappropriate behavior.
