You have bought an item but when you got it home, you found it had some problems. You returned the item and spoke to the company representative a week ago but the item has still not been repaired/fixed. Write a letter to the company manager. In your letter: Introduce yourself Explain the situation Say what action you would like the company to take.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my disappointment over an item I bought from your company branch at Ikeja
Last week Saturday and to request for immediate replacement of the item. My name is John Smith and I am one of your regular customer. I purchased a rechargeable fan from your store on Saturday 16th July and on getting home, I discovered that the rechargeable battery was not good.
I charged the fan for about two hours as indicated in the manual, only to found out that the battery does not last up to 5 minutes of usage which is different from the written specification. Immediately, I returned the item to your store for repair and up to this moment I am yet to get feedback from the company representative.
Though I would have waited for it to be repaired or fixed, however I would prefer a replacement because my birthday party is tomorrow and I would need the service of the fan.
