You are leaving your job and would like to invite your friend to replace you. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, you should:
– describe the job
– explain the reason you are leaving
– tell him/her why you would recommend the job to them
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear [Friend’s Name],
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to let you know that I’m leaving my current position at [Company Name], and I wanted to recommend the job to you, as I believe it would be a great fit for you.
The role involves [briefly describe the job, e.g., managing client accounts, overseeing projects, coordinating events, etc.]. It’s a dynamic position that requires a combination of [skills required, e.g., organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, communication, etc.]. The work environment is supportive, and there is a lot of opportunity for growth and development.
The reason I’m leaving is because I’ve decided to pursue a new opportunity that aligns better with my long-term career goals. However, I truly believe that this position would be perfect for you. It offers a good balance of challenge and reward, and the team here is fantastic to work with.
