IELTS GENERAL WRITING TASK 1

You have been going to a piano teacher for the past month. However, it no longer fits in your budget or busy schedule

Write a letter to your piano teacher. In your letter:

– Thank him for his efforts and time

– Explain the changes in your circumstances

– Explain that you may be able to pick it up again

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Mr. Vittorio,

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the time and effort you have dedicated to teaching me over the past month. Your expertise and patience have truly made a difference, and I have greatly enjoyed the lessons.

Unfortunately, due to recent changes in my circumstances, including adjustments to my budget and a particularly busy schedule, I find myself unable to continue with piano lessons at this time. It is with a heavy heart that I must take a break from our sessions.

However, I remain enthusiastic about playing the piano and hope to resume lessons in the future when my situation permits. I will certainly reach out to you again when I am able to reintegrate piano lessons into my routine.

Thank you once again for your understanding and for the wonderful instruction you have provided. I look forward to the possibility of studying with you again.
