You recently bought a children’s toy online but when it arrived it was damaged. Write a letter to the manager of the toy shop.

In your letter:

– describe what the problem with the toy is

– suggest how the damage may have happened

– say what you would like the manager to do

Dear [Manager’s Name],

I am writing to express my concern regarding a damaged toy I recently purchased from your shop. The item, a wooden train set (Order #12345), arrived with several broken pieces. The track segments are cracked, and a few of the train cars are chipped and splintered.

I suspect that the damage occurred during transit. The packaging appeared inadequate, with minimal cushioning around the toy, which might have led to the breakage as the package was handled.

I kindly request a replacement for the damaged toy or a full refund if a replacement is not available. Additionally, I would appreciate if you could review your packaging procedures to prevent similar issues in the future.
