As an International Student in Sweden, You Have an Account With a Local Bank. The monthly bank transfer you receive from your parents has been delayed this month due to an error at your parent’s bank.

– Introduce yourself and ask for a loan.

– Say why you need the money.

– Tell how you intend to pay back the money.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Sara and I am an international student studying in Sweden. I am writing to you today to request a loan from your bank.

Unfortunately, there has been an error at my parent’s bank, which has caused a delay in my monthly bank transfer. This delay has put me in a difficult situation, as I am currently unable to cover my living expenses for the month.

Therefore, I am hoping to secure a loan of 5000 SEK to cover my immediate needs. I intend to use the money to pay for my rent, food, and other necessities until I receive my monthly transfer from my parents.

I understand that borrowing money is a serious responsibility and I assure you that I will make every effort to pay back the loan in a timely manner. I am currently working part-time and will use my income to make regular payments on the loan until it is fully paid off.
