The pie chart below the shows the sales of various motor vehicles achieved by a particular automobile company in the year 2012.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, making comparisons wherever relevant.
SAMPLE ANSWER
The given circle chart presents the sales of different motorized vehicles by a particular automobile company in the year 2012. The sales, represented in percentages, pertained to such vehicles as scooters, mobikes, mopeds, auto-rickshaws and cars.
A glance at the graph reveals that the company records maximum sales in scooters at 30%. The minimum sales registered was in cars, at 10%. Auto-rickshaws stood second in sales, at 25%, followed by mopeds (20%), trailed in turn by mistakes (15%).
It is noteworthy that, according to the given pie chart, the sales of scooters was double than that of mobikes – 30%, against 10%. It is further observed that the sales of mobikes exceeded the sales of cars by 5%, while mopeds surpassed the sales of mobikes by 5%. Auto-rickshaws were sold 5% less than the scooters (25% against 30%).
