The line graph and bar chart give the information and forecast about the vehicle numbers and CO2 emission in England and Wales between 2000 and 2020.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

A glance at the line graph reveals the information about the number of vehicles in England and Wales from 2000 to 2020, the bar chart gives information on the amount of CO2 emissions by cars, buses, vans, and trucks over the same period.

Overall, the number of vehicles increased over three-fold in twenty years time period and CO2 emissions also increased during this time.

In 2000, there were nearly 20 million vehicles in England and Wales. In the following 10 years, this figure went up slightly to 35 million, and this number increased exponentially over time and rose to approximately 60 million by the year 2020.

The column graph shows the four primary sources of CO2 emissions. Cars emitted the largest amount of CO2 from approximately 2.3 tonnes in 2000 to 3 tonnes in 2020. Interestingly, the trucks went through and forecasted a similar trend as cars but the total amount is slightly less, from 06. tonnes in 2000 to 1.3 tonnes in 2020.

On the other hand, Buses, and vans emitted the least amount of CO2 among the given four types of vehicles during this period. Buses emitted around 0.4 tonnes and vans approximately o.6 tonnes by the year 2020.
