Hillary’s School sampled an equal number of boys and girls at the school, asking them to pick the one snack they liked the most from the list given in the double horizontal bar graph.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The dual horizontal bar graph is all about the varying preference in the choice of snacks among female and male students at Hillary’s school.
Chips were the most preferred item, with more than 280 boys and 230 girls opting for them. Fruits were the best choice of the girls. 250 girls favoured it. Incidentally, it was the food item least preferred by boys and the one which found least favour with them among the lot. After chips, chocolate bars were chosen by most-over 250 boys and 225 girls. Ice cream was enjoyed by 215 girls but by only nearly 170 boys. Candy was another item girls went in for (200). Popcorn scored an equal number of patrons in both the genders, 175 each. In the cases of cookies and pretzels, boys overtook girls. Vegetables did not find much preference either with the boys or the girls.
To sum up, all the ten food items found favour with well over 100 students of both the sexes. While chips topped the list, fruits were the last.
