The line graphs below show the production of and demand for steel in million tonnes and the number of workers employed in the steel industry in the UK in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

SAMPLE ANSWER
The graph illustrates the quantity of steel produced and particularly the size of the steel industry workforce in the United Kingdom in 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the highest need for manufactured products was in February and the least demand for manufactured steel was in December, while the highest and lowest demand for workforce in the steel industry were experienced in March and November, respectively, during the year.
Firstly, the demand for production figures from January to February experienced an increasing trend, while the requirement for an employment level followed this trend until March. From February to August, production of and requirement for steel constantly decreased from 5000 million tonnes to 3200 million tonnes. During this period, actual demand for steel experienced several significant changes.
Secondly, there is a similar steady trend in both manufacture and demand for steel products over the last2 months of 2010. Furthermore, from September to December similar decreasing trend was followed by both lines. In November, demand figures for steel were the lowest of 2010, with the amount of approximately 100 million tonnes, whereas the lowest manufacturing figures happened in December, with the amount of merely1000 million tonnes.
