The maps below show the changes that have taken place at Queen Mary Hospital since its construction in 1960. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

The given maps show the Queen Marry Hospital and how its structure has evolved over the years since its construction in 1960.

Overall, the Hospital has changed a lot in the last Four decades of the 19thcentury from one building to acquiring the whole complex, in, added every 20 years there is a change in the plan from 1960 to 2000. Now it has Cancer Centre, Nursing School too initially these were not part of the institution.

In 1960 hospital has one building, car parking on its back side, farmland and a shopping centre to the left side of the hospital on the other hand at the beginning of 1980 there are drastic changes in the structure shopping centre has been demolished and Cancer Centre is built in place of the shopping centre. Nursing school has replaced the whole farmland in the last hospital has expanded now it has a pharmacy integrated into it.

At the beginning of year 20th century year, 2000 there is a slight change in structure Cancer Centre expanded although the nursing school has reduced its area and car parking too. However the hospital remains still there not changed an inch.
