The bar charts below give information on road transport in a number of European countries.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

SAMPLE ANSWER
The three bar charts illustrate patterns of road transport in selected European countries, focusing on car travel, other transport modes, and daily commuting time.
In terms of annual travel per person by car (Chart A), Denmark records the highest figure, at about 13,500 kilometres, followed by France and Italy, both slightly above 12,000 km. The EU average stands at around 10,500 km, while Spain and Germany register the lowest levels, just under 10,000 km.
For other modes such as bus, train, metro, and bike (Chart B), Denmark again leads, with approximately 3,000 km per person, almost twice the EU average. Italy ranks second at about 1,800 km, whereas the UK and France have the lowest figures, below 1,000 km.
Daily commuting time (Chart C) is longest in the UK (around 46 minutes), followed closely by Germany and Denmark, while Italy has the shortest duration, at roughly 22 minutes.
Overall, Denmark consistently shows the highest transport use.
