SAMPLE ANSWER
The line graph illustrates the percentage of adolescents aged 15 to 19 who reported getting varying durations of sleep the previous night, from 2004 to 2013.
Overall, the proportion of teens sleeping less than 7 hours on weekdays rose steadily, whereas those getting 9 hours or more on weekends declined. Other sleep categories remained relatively stable over the period.
In 2004, around 75% of teens slept less than 7 hours on weekdays, increasing slightly before rising more sharply after 2011, reaching nearly 80% by 2013. Conversely, weekend sleepers getting 9 hours or more decreased from approximately 25% to 15%. Those getting less than 9 hours on weekends initially rose to 30% in 2006 but dropped to around 22% by 2013.
Meanwhile, weekday sleep durations of 7–9 hours and 9 or more hours stayed relatively flat, hovering between 35–45% and below 10%, respectively.
