The pie charts illustrate People for People Charity Group’s funds by source and the allocation of the funds in 2005.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The first pie chart shows the different sources of People for People Charity Group’s funds in 2005, while the second pie chart reveals how these funds were distributed that year.
Foundation grants along with union and corporate donations were the primary sources of funding for the People for People Charity Group in 2005. In particular, almost half of the group’s funds were obtained from foundation grants, whereas 31 percent came from donations by unions and corporations. Likewise, technical assistance, individual donations and earned income added to the charity group’s funding; these sources had a total contribution of 21 percent.
With regard to the distribution of the People for People Charity Group’s funds, special projects and financial grants were given the biggest allocations, at 30 percent and 26 percent, respectively. Educational assistance and civil works received equal funding of the total charity resources, at 20 percent each. Incidentally, only four percent was allocated to administrative expenses in 2005.
In summary, the bulk of the People for People Charity Group’s financial re- sources came from foundation grants and union and corporate donations. These two sources already accounted for close to 80 percent of the charity group’s total funds. More than half of these funds collectively went to special projects and financial grants, while 40 percent was used for civil works and educational assistance.
