IELTS ACADEMIC WRITING TASK-1
The table below shows information about the population of New Zealand from 2011 to 2012 by age group. Summarize the formation by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The table illustrates the percentage of New Zealand population from 2011 and 2012 by age group. It is clear from the graph that the middle ages were increased in 2011, however, the years from 40 to 64 were the higest in proportion. Also, people above 65 were the least in number.
According to what is shown, ages under 15 and from 15 to 39 years old went down for
about 0.2 percent, from 898 to 896 million and from 1.577 to 1.574 million respectively. However the majority people who are from 40 to 64 climbed gradually for around 0.6 per cent, from1.331 to 1.33 million respectively. In contrast people from above 65 years old were minor figure among all ages, which decreased dramatically by about 4.0%.
To sum up, we could say that teenagers and middle ages dropped down, whereas the old ages went up sharply. New Zealand should put a plan for their citizen to grow their population.
