The bar chart below shows the average duration of housework done by men and women per day in different countries. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart depicts the average time spent on housework by men and women per day in five different countries.
Overall, women consistently spend more time on household chores compared to men in all the countries surveyed. The disparity between the genders is most pronounced in Spain and Italy.
In Spain, women spend an average of about 5 hours per day on housework, while men spend roughly 2 hours. A similar pattern is observed in Italy, where women spend around 4.5 hours and men about 1.5 hours daily.
The gap is somewhat narrower in France and the UK. In France, women dedicate approximately 4 hours to housework, whereas men spend around 2.5 hours. In the UK, women spend 3.5 hours on household tasks, with men contributing about 2 hours.
Interestingly, in Denmark, the difference is the smallest, with women spending 3 hours per day on housework and men spending about 2.5 hours. This suggests a more balanced distribution of household responsibilities in Denmark compared to the other countries.
