The flow chart illustrates the production of coloured plastic paper clips in a small factory.

The supplied diagram shows the steps of paper clip production in a small factory.
Overall, there are 5-7 steps involved in the production of coloured paper clips including the moulding to packing and dispatching.
As is seen from the given flow-chart, molten plastic is coloured in the initial stage and there are three different coloured moulds namely blue, red and yellow. Based on the needed colour paper clip, the mould is coloured and the strength of the mould is checked in machine for ensuring the quality. If the materials do not pass the machine made quality control, then those get rejected from the process.
Then in next stage, the manual sorting is done. There are two different types of colour mixing: single colour and mixed colours. After colouring the clips then again go through a quality control that particularly monitors the expected colour on the clips. In the final step, the produced plastic paper clips are paced and dispatched. Any input regarding the quality of the production is fed in the manual sorting step.
