The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in 1999.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The pie chart gives information about the percentage of people who visited four different tourist attractions in Britain and the table chart shows the proportion of visitors to five different activities in Themes Parks during the year 1999.
Overall, two most popular attractions for tourists were themes Parks and museums and galleries, whereas the least visited attraction was wildlife Parks and zoos. Moreover, for visitors to themes Parks the main sight was the Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
In terms of the pie chart, theme Parks and museums and galleries got almost the same percent of visitors (38% and 37% respectively). 16% of people in Britain chose to see the historic houses and monuments, while only 9% of them visited wildlife parks and zoos.
With regards to the table chart, Blackpool Pleasure Beach was the tourists’ favorite theme park (slightly under 50% visited it). 17% and 16% of visitors chose to pursue activities in Alton Towers and Pleasureland theme parks, while the least visited parks were Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland in Windsor (both of them shared the same proportion of 10% of the whole visitors).
