Write a letter to the gym manager. In your letter:

– Explain why you are unhappy

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my concern about the recent increase in gym membership fees at your facility. As a long-time member, I have always appreciated the services provided. However, the sudden hike in fees is quite disappointing, especially since no additional benefits have been introduced.

I have compared your new pricing with other gyms in the area, such as FitZone and ActiveLife. Both offer similar equipment and classes, yet their fees remain lower and more affordable. Some even include perks like free personal training sessions and nutrition consultations.

I believe increasing the membership cost without adding value may lead to dissatisfaction among loyal members. I kindly request you to reconsider this change. Either maintain the previous fee structure or introduce new features that justify the increase, such as extended hours, upgraded equipment, or additional classes.
