You recently helped a tourist who was lost in your city. Write a letter to a friend.

In your letter:

• Describe how you met the tourist

• Explain what help you gave them

• Tell your friend how you felt about the experience

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Simran,

I hope you’re doing great! I wanted to share something interesting that happened last weekend. While I was walking through the old market area, I noticed a foreign tourist looking confused and checking his phone repeatedly.

I approached him and asked if he needed help. He seemed relieved and told me he was from Germany and had lost his way while trying to find the Golden Temple. His phone’s GPS wasn’t working properly, and he looked quite stressed.

I offered to walk with him since I was heading in the same direction. On the way, we had a lovely chat about Punjabi food and culture. He was so curious and polite! Once we reached the temple, he thanked me warmly and even took a selfie with me as a memory.

It felt really good to help someone in need. It reminded me how small acts of kindness can make someone’s day.
