The graph below shows the favourite sport of people from the US between 1985 and 2015.

The line graph illustrates the percentage of people in the US who preferred different sports from 1985 to 2015. Five sports are represented: American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and Other Sports.
Overall, American Football remained the most popular sport throughout the period, while Baseball experienced a steady decline. Basketball and Other Sports increased in popularity, whereas Hockey saw a slight drop.
In 1985, American Football led with about 36%, rising gradually to 43% by 2015. Baseball started at 33% but declined steadily to 15% by the end of the period. Basketball showed a modest rise, especially after 1995, reaching around 23% in 2015.
Hockey remained relatively stable early on but dropped from 10% in 1985 to just 5% by 2015. Other Sports, although the least popular initially (4%), steadily gained popularity, ending at 12%.
