#Read instructions carefully
Vary the type of each question, what you have to do. For example, the instructions for the first sample question State:-
Write the correct letter,A-I, next to Question 14-20
Thus, you must write a letter next to each word in the answer list.
In the further example they State:
Choose FIVE answers from the box and write the correct letters next to Questions 11-15 .
In this case, you will write your planned answer itself.
The most important: write only the correct letter (A-I) on the plan. Don’t write the word. If you do, your answer will be marked incorrect.
So, if the answer 11 was ‘books’ your answer would be 11 B, not 11 books.
#Sequence
The answers will come in the same order in the recording as they are listed in the question so, for our sample question, you will hear answer 5 first, then answer 6 and so on. This makes it much easier to pick out the answer than if they were in a random order.

For instance, if an answer is ‘additional books’ the speaker might say,
In the corner, next to the history section, you will find ten shelves of encyclopaedia’s, dictionaries and directories.
We’ll look at the synonyms and paraphrasing that have been used in practice question when we review the answers .

#Look for Distractors
The graders might try and catch you out with the Distractors. A distractor is a word or phrase that change or correct the original piece of given information. Hence, you may be given an answer and then have it take away again.
There are some Distractors which are highlighted:
However, but – The use of ‘but’ and ‘however’are particularly common Distractors but there are a number of distinct words and phrases that can be utilised to change or correct a piece of information so be alert for them .
#Guess
The final tip is to never leave a blank space on the answer sheet. If you miss an answer, take an educated guess. This gives you at least few chances of getting it correct. Don’t get worried about missing any of the answer as it affect your ability to answer the next question. Just make the choice and move on.
