BREACH – A gap in a wall, barrier, or defence, especially one made by an attacking army.
Sentence – A breach in the mountain wall.

BREECH – The part of a cannon behind the bore.

CONFIDENT – Feeling or showing certainty about something.
Sentence – This time they’re confident of a happy ending.

CONFIDANTE – A person with whom one shares a secret or private matter, trusting them not to repeat it to others.

GAMBIT – An act or remark that is calculated to gain an advantage, especially at the outset of a situation.
Sentence – His resignation was a tactical gambit.

GAMUT – The complete range or scope of something.
Sentence – The whole gamut of human emotion.

ENVELOP – Wrap up, cover, or surround completely.
Sentence – The assignment was to envelop the head of the enemy column and destroy it.

ENVELOPE – A flat paper container with a sealable flap, used to enclose a letter or document.
Sentence – He slit open the envelope with a knife.

PERSONAL – Belonging to or affecting a particular person rather than anyone else.
Sentence – He added his own personal touches to the recipe.

PREMIER- First in importance, order, or position; leading.
Sentence – Of all the hotels in the world, this premier hotel was on the top of every hotel critic’s top ten list.

PREMIERE – The first performance of a musical or theatrical work or the first showing of a film.
Sentence – The premiere on Monday is sold out.

VERACIOUS – Speaking or representing the truth.
Sentence – He will be veracious only so long as the consequences are not seriously injurious.

VORACIOUS – Engaging in an activity with great eagerness or enthusiasm.
Sentence – She’s a voracious reader.

TORTUOUS – Full of twists and turns.
Sentence – The route is remote and tortuous.

Torturous – Characterized by, involving, or causing pain or suffering.
Sentence – A torturous five days of fitness training.

WEATHER – the state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time.
Sentence – If the weather’s good we can go for a walk.

WHETHER – Expressing a doubt or choice between alternatives.
Sentence – I’m going whether you like it or not.

STATUE – A statue is a large sculpture of a person or an animal, made of stone or metal.
Sentence – His gaze went to the statue of him.

STATUTE – a written law passed by a legislative body.
Sentence – It may be created by contract, by statute or by judgment.
