Panic -(a sudden feeling of fear or anxiety).
Sentence – There was a last-minute panic when nobody could find the tickets.
Sociable -(someone who is friendly and enjoys spending time with other people).
Sentence – The least sociable auk, breeding in very loose colonies, in crevices of cliffs and rocks.
Discouraged -(feeling less enthusiastic, hopeful or confident about something).
Sentence – Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and can’t make a change.
Hooked -(be addicted to something).
Sentence – It’s difficult to wean an addict off cocaine once they’re hooked.
Ingenious -(very clever and inventive).

Hopeless -(despairing; very unhappy).

Sentence – It stands to reason that if you are considerate and friendly to people you will get a lot more back.
Thoughtful -(showing attention or consideration for the needs and feeling of other people).
Sentence – You can find love in a smile or a helping hand, in a thoughtful gesture or a kind word. It is all around, if you just look for it.
Bossy -(to describe someone who is always telling other people what to do).
Sentence – Your young daughter’s bossy attitude in later life may be channelled into quite acceptable leadership qualities.
Officious -(to describe someone who uses their authority or position to tell people what to do).
Sentence – I got held up by an officious receptionist who wouldn’t let me in until I’d answered all her questions.
Irresponsible -(to describe someone who has no feeling of responsibility for something).
Sentence – It is irresponsible of you not to prepare students for their exams.
To feel relieved – (feeling good because a dif icult problem has been solved).
Sentence – When he has gone over the phrase a few more times, he will smile or chuckle or perhaps merely feel relieved.
Shame – (a guilty and embarrassed feeling that you have when you or someone else has behaved badly).

Witty -(able to use words in clever and funny things).

Convenient -(to be easy, very useful or suitable for a person’s needs or a particular purpose).
