IELTS SPEAKING INTERVIEW
PART – 1 INTRO
What is your name?
My name is Qazxsw edcvfr.
How may I address you?
You may address me as Qazxsw.
May I see your ID?
Sure, here it is.
Where is your hometown?
My hometown is on the south-east coast of Northern Ireland. It’s called Dundrum and it’s about 1 hour south of the capital city.
What do you not like about it?
It can be a little bit boring because it’s really tiny. There are only a few small shops and a couple of pubs and that’s it! In the summer, it’s OK because you can enjoy the outdoors but it would be nice to have a few more indoor facilities for the winter.

How often do you visit your hometown?
Not as much as I should. I only get to visit about once a year now to see my family because I’m really busy with work and it’s quite far away, but I hope to visit more in the future.
What’s the oldest part of your hometown?
There is an old Norman castle that sits on top of the highest hill of the town. It’s a ruin now, but there are some breath taking views from it and it’s easy to see why they chose that site for a castle, because you can see for miles around.
Do many people visit your town?
Thousands of tourists visit every summer. They come from the capital city mostly to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are more and more international tourists visiting because lots of scenes from the TV show ‘Game of Thrones’ were shot just outside the village.

Sample Answer:
I would like to talk about this one time from my childhood, when I helped someone, when I didn’t even know it was a form of help.
If I recon it correctly the year was 1993, I must have been in my 3rd or 4th year of school. One night we (me, my sister and our parents) were returning from some ones place, on the way, there was a religious procession going on and we kids were offered some edibles. I was still holding my goodies, when I saw an old man sitting by the road, a few houses away. I gave him those goodies to eat.
While he was eating the food, I felt really good. From that night onwards I made it a point, while going to my school I would find him and give him my tiffin to eat. I did it for some time before my parents found it out and stopped me from doing it.
I loved to see his smiling face, while eating the food. I know it must not have been much for him. He would always bless me, like a lot. I guess I am what I am today because of people like him.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
How do people usually help each other?
I believe it is the kindness found in the majority of human souls. We are aware that it feels nice to get help from others in times of need. Therefore, we wish to assist others in a similar way. Also, as I previously stated, it is the satisfaction we receive from helping others.
2. Do you think it’s important to help people who need help?
Certainly, it is indeed important. We do have the responsibility of doing our share in our families, workplaces, and social circles. We impact one another and participate in the surrounding environment and atmosphere. Similarly to how we expect everyone else to assist us, we should also be open to assisting others.

3. How do you feel after you have helped someone?
Although the help I provided was beyond my capabilities, I usually feel great after helping someone. If there was a sacrifice, it appears that I am happier now than when I started, and I occasionally have much more time or energy for myself. It may sound silly, but at times it seems like magic how I wind up with extra time, money, or whatever after giving something to someone else.
4. Many people only look out for themselves and never think about helping others. What do you think of this attitude?
I believe it is wrong. I am aware that it is typical, yet it is a sad representation of today’s world, at least in large cities. I am aware that not everyone has grown so self-centred in recent decades, but a significant number of individuals have become totally selfish. People appear to be in such a rush to become wealthy, obtain better jobs, or enter the top schools that they barely notice others in need. Perhaps if individuals were less involved in their own worlds, they would be able to recognize the needs of others and act accordingly. I certainly hope so.
