The maps below show recent changes in Shipsmouth between 1995 and 2010. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The two pictures illustrate how the town of Shipsmouth changed between 1995 and 2010.

Overall, the town underwent significant development and urbanization, with industrial areas replaced by residential and commercial infrastructure. Several new amenities were introduced, and the town center became more pedestrian-friendly.

In 1995, a factory was located near the coastline, and a church stood to the northeast of the city centre. The area also featured a station, some houses, and a few trees. By 2010, the factory was replaced by modern apartment blocks, and a shopping centre and football stadium were built nearby. The church remained unchanged, but the houses were replaced by a pub and tall skyscrapers. An airport was constructed in the southeast.

A notable transformation was the city centre, which became a pedestrian-only zone. Additionally, a second station was introduced in the southern part of the town, enhancing transportation options.
